Dr. Mora Pressley | Founding Board Director
Dr. Mora Pressley is an educator, researcher, and strategic leader with nearly two decades of experience advancing educator leadership, organizational strategy, and systems change. She is the Founder and President of the Blackberry Educator Empowerment Initiative, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to cultivating community, wellness, leadership, and opportunity for Black educators. Through Blackberry Educational Consulting, she partners with schools, districts, nonprofits, and organizations to design leadership development, strengthen partnerships, and translate research into practice.
Throughout her career, Dr. Pressley has led large-scale initiatives spanning K–12 education, higher education, nonprofit leadership, and national education organizations. She brings expertise in research-practice partnerships, program design, organizational strategy, educator development, and cross-sector collaboration. As a Founding Board Director of the TAFT Foundation, she is committed to advancing innovative research and university partnerships that expand educational opportunity and reduce inequities for young people.
