Empowering Future Educators. Transforming Education.
Support Programs
At TAFT Foundation, we are committed to providing a range of educational support programs that are designed to expand learning opportunities and promote educational equity. These initiatives are developed to meet the diverse needs of students, particularly those from underserved communities, helping them to overcome barriers and achieve their full potential.
Through academic support, peer tutoring and mentoring, and scholarship opportunities, TAFT’s support programs help students strengthen their academic foundations while developing leadership skills and confidence.
Together, these initiatives support the broader mission of the TAFT Program by expanding academic support, leadership opportunities, and pathways toward future educator development.

📘 Educational Support
TAFT’s educational support programs provide students with academic resources and guidance that strengthen their learning foundations. These initiatives are designed to help students build confidence in their studies while developing skills needed for long-term success.
Through academic enrichment activities, tutoring, mentoring, and access to educational resources, TAFT works to ensure that students from underserved backgrounds have meaningful opportunities to grow, learn, and pursue their educational aspirations.

👥 Peer Tutoring
TAFT’s free peer tutoring and mentoring program creates collaborative learning environments in which high-potential learners serve as tutors and mentors to support peers experiencing academic challenges. Through structured peer tutoring and mentoring, students receive individualized academic support while tutors and mentors develop communication, leadership, tutoring, and mentoring skills.
This model not only strengthens academic outcomes but also fosters a culture of peer leadership and mutual support within the learning community.

🎓 Scholarships
TAFT offers scholarships and stipends to help reduce the financial barriers that may limit students’ educational pathways and discourage their confidence. These financial supports help students build confidence, pursue further education, explore future academic pathways, and work towards their long-term career goals.
By easing financial constraints, TAFT seeks to ensure that talented and motivated students have access to the educational resources they need to continue their educational journeys.

🍎 Future Educators Program
The Future Educators Program empowers high-potential students to explore careers in education and develop leadership skills that contribute to their communities. Through tutorship, mentorship, leadership development, and hands-on learning experience, participants gain insight into the role educators play in shaping schools and communities.
This program also supports TAFT’s long-term mission of cultivating future educators and advancing greater diversity within the U.S. teaching workforce.
