Connecting Program Design, Research, and Continuous Learning

TAFT Foundation is committed to building research-informed and evidence-aware approaches to youth leadership development, peer learning, and educational equity.

Our research and evaluation efforts are designed to help us better understand how structured peer tutoring and mentoring environments may support academic engagement, leadership identity development, collaboration, and future educator pathways among underserved high-potential students.

TAFT believes that effective educational initiatives should continuously evolve through reflection, implementation, feedback, and evaluation. As pilot programs are developed and expanded, research and evaluation processes will help inform program refinement, future scaling, and long-term impact development.

Evaluation efforts associated with future TAFT pilot initiatives may include:

– Pre- and post-program surveys
– Leadership identity and peer engagement measures
– Student reflection and feedback activities
– Mentor and participant observations
– Program implementation review
– Mixed-methods evaluation approaches

These efforts are intended not only to support program improvement, but also to contribute to broader conversations surrounding youth leadership development, peer learning environments, and educational opportunity.

TAFT’s long-term goal is to develop scalable and reflective educational models that integrate leadership development, academic support, and educational equity.
