Empowering High-Potential Students. Advancing U.S. Teacher Diversity.
Partner With TAFT Foundation
We welcome partnerships with public libraries, schools, families, researchers, community organizations, volunteers, and supporters who share our commitment to educational equity, youth leadership development, and future educator pathways.
Through library-based workshops, peer mentoring, and collaborative learning initiatives, TAFT seeks to make meaningful leadership and educational opportunities more accessible to students and communities.

Ways to Collaborate
PUBLIC LIBRARIES & COMMUNITY LEARNING SPACES
Partner with TAFT Foundation to strengthen public libraries as community-based hubs for youth leadership development and future educator pathways beyond the traditional classroom.
Through TAFT Leadership & Career Workshops and our two-phase TAFT Leadership Development Program, consisting of Phase I: Leadership Foundations (structured leadership training) and Phase II: Leadership in Practice (supervised tutoring, mentoring, and ongoing leadership and educator skill development), we aim to expand equitable educational opportunities, empower high-potential students to develop leadership through service, and inspire the next generation of educators.
Schools & Community Programs
Collaborate with TAFT Foundation to identify and engage high-potential students, expand access to leadership development opportunities, and support their growth through the two-phase TAFT Leadership Development Program. Together, we can connect classroom learning with community-based leadership practice, supervised peer tutoring and mentoring, and meaningful pathways toward future careers in education.
Research & Academic Collaboration
Collaborate with TAFT Foundation to advance research on the Scalable Peer Flux Leadership (SPFL) framework, youth leadership development, peer learning, and future educator pathways. We welcome academic partnerships in research design, program evaluation, and the study of how structured leadership training and supervised educational practice contribute to students’ leadership growth, mentoring competencies, and educational equity.
Volunteers & Mentors
Support TAFT’s mission by contributing your time, experience, and expertise to youth leadership development. Volunteers, educators, and mentors can help facilitate workshops, guide student learning and reflection, support supervised tutoring and mentoring activities, and encourage young people as they develop leadership skills and explore future careers in education..
Funders & Donors
Invest in the next generation of student leaders and future educators. Your support can help TAFT Foundation expand equitable access to leadership development, strengthen educator-guided training and community-based learning opportunities, and build sustainable pathways for high-potential students—particularly those facing barriers to educational enrichment—to grow as mentors, leaders, and future contributors to education.
