Youth Advisory Board (YAB)
Youth voices that help guide program development and leadership initiatives.

The Youth Advisory Board (YAB) provides students with opportunities to contribute their perspectives to the development of TAFT programs and initiatives. Through the YAB, students participate in leadership discussions, program feedback, and community engagement activities that strengthen youth participation in organizational decision-making.

By elevating youth voices and experiences, the YAB helps ensure that TAFT’s programs remain responsive to the needs and aspirations of the students they serve. Participation in the Youth Advisory Board also provides students with meaningful leadership experiences and opportunities to develop civic engagement and communication skills.
The YAB reflects TAFT’s commitment to youth leadership development and aligns with the principles of the Scalable Peer Flux Leadership (SPFL) framework, which emphasizes collaborative leadership and shared learning environments.
